THQ announces The Outfit for Xbox 360

THQ Inc. and its award winning development studio Relic Entertainment today announced The Outfit, an explosive squad-based action game for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Combining intense squad-based combat and easy to use strategic gameplay elements with the cinematic intensity of a blockbuster movie, The Outfit is a lethal combination of high action and strategy. Set within war ravaged Europe during World War II, the game takes players behind enemy lines, battling the Nazi War Machine through a variety of larger than life combat missions. Scheduled to release holiday 2005, the game will make its public debut at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) May 18-20 in THQ Booth #1046.

THQ announces Saint's Row for Xbox 360

THQ Inc. and critically acclaimed development studio Volition, Inc. today announced Saint's Row. An evolution in open world gaming, Saint's Row provides an unprecedented amount of freedom to experience the game as the player sees fit. The game, based in the fictional urban surroundings of Still Water, is action adventure with its core as a third-person shooter. Scheduled to release worldwide on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2005, Saint's Row will make its public debut at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, CA, May 18.

id Software announced today that it is bringing QUAKE 4 to the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Currently in development by Raven Software in cooperation with id Software, the game will be debuted at the E3 Expo in Activision's booth #1224 in the South Hall on May 18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

"QUAKE 4 utilizes the power of our groundbreaking DOOM 3 engine to transport players into a war-torn science-fiction universe graphically realized like never before," said Todd Hollenshead, CEO, id Software. "We're excited to bring the next generation experience to a new breed of console game fans."

E3: 2K Games Line-up

2K Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., announced their lineup for the 2005 E3 Expo in Los Angeles on May 18 ? 20, 2005. 2K Games will feature a wide variety of games for the PC, PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in booth #968 in the South Hall, as well as additional titles that will be featured by ATI and Bethesda Softworks in their respective booths.

Due to the popularity of Phantom Dust, the game's creator Yukio Futatsugi has commissioned the release of 34 new skills via the downloadable skill update 1.20 on Xbox Live. The 36 new skills cover all the different skill schools and also include the mysterious 'Phantom Dust' skill which, while initially shrouded in mystery, promises to have a crazy, game altering effect.
