Achievement points, some have their 10 thousand achievement point clubs and others are content with what they have below 10,000. How ever I think the real question at hand here is how many hours of dedicated gameplay does this require? Well the answer is simply... a lot. I mean me myself I have only finished about 2 games. And guess what!? They're arcade titles, I've only beat Spyglass board games and Bomberman Live. And I mean Bomberman was fun and all in about 5 hours of the time I've spent playing was boring!

If you are a serious gamer, then you have probably always dreamt about attending a video game expo. The old styled E3 was a ton of fun to watch on G4TV and the Internet. But what were the odds of you getting a chance to attend this media only event. Well the tables have turned, a few years ago the guys behind the web comic, 'Penny Arcade' decided they should come together and create an event especially for gamers. When the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) first launched a few years back in Seattle it was just a small event bringing in a few thousand sweaty geeks. Now it is 2007 and at the end of this month they expect to have well over 40,000 attendees. This number is only an estimate, I wouldn't be surprised if they hit well over 60 – 80,000 attendees.
The Xbox 360 is a fine concept of a machine, but let's face it. It is not built as sturdy as a rock. Disk errors and red rings of death plague quite a few machines. To adapt, the Xbox 360 owners are forced to find a way to repair and modify these machines on their own. Some even break their warranty to find the underlying issue and fix it themselves. Third party companies such as Niko and Mad Catz have found ways to capitalize on Microsoft's flaws in the 360, and they plan to act accordingly. Nyko has created the external Intercooler to increase the air flow inside your 360 in hopes of reducing the chance of a burnout. Pelican has a familiar Fan Stand which is less successful, but it is overall the same concept.
In the last two months I have obtained an Xbox 360 Elite and a Playstation 3. The 360 out of love, it has the best games, the best graphics and the best Online capabilities, the Playstation 3 I bought mainly for the Blu-Ray option so my wife and I can continue our hobby which is collecting movies where she was forced to go with Blu-Ray as her favorite publisher Disney doesn’t publish on HD-DVD, not yet in my opinion as I will see them moving away from BR in the future.
