You are Oolong, you must fight your way trough all the martial arts masters and reach the tops to achieve your goal as being the greatest fighter ever!
Gameplay
This is one Fighter game i have played that has the least amount of Combos and with on 2 attacks
A Button: To punch B Button: To kick Up: To jump Down: To duck
So as you can see its not going to be a button mashing fighter game. As for fighting its very sluggish and can get very annoying, When i went up against master club(the only master with a shield)I was able to jump in front of him and I clearly connected with two punches and one kick....but he took no damage but was able to attack me. swell as that with some fighters all you have to do is duck and kick all the way trough the match, so it can get very repetitive and boring. I also would have liked to be able to pick up weapons along the way and use them like my foes but that didn't happen.
Multiplayer
Out of 96 friends on my list I am the only one to own this game, I have tried to play online for several days now and there no games, mainly because I think not very much people have bought this game.
Sound
Well i know for a fact that this game's sound was not updated because in game there are two songs and one noise for each attack to you and from you, This can be a good thing if you like this games to stick to its original character but not so good if you where expecting the sound to be updated like the looks where
The Looks
Well after seeing some of the original Game images on the Commodore 64 the graphics have improved allot, its also in High definition which also helps the looks. But you must bare in mind that this game was one of the original games in the Commodore 64 so the characters are very 2D with little or no facial expressions and the backgrounds are nearly always one color and have no animation.
The Straight Dope
This game is 400 points for a reason...its not very good, but if you where a fan of the original I'm sure this would bring a smile to your face with nice fresh looks and nothing changed in the game play area, But to anyone else i would recommend putting out another 400 and getting a really good Coin-op fighter like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.
